20 YEARS

Sporting Elements was founded over 20 years ago and has since transitioned from an Agency based business to having a core focus on Range Development, Sourcing, Direct Imports, Indents and Distribution (South Africa and Africa).

CLAYTON PRINS

The founder, Clayton Prins has been an avid sportsman all his life, with a keen interest in Surfing, Mountain Biking, Trail Running and more recently, Skateboarding.

LINDA PRINS

Linda Prins has recently joined the company in a design and marketing capacity and together, their experience and skills present a formidable team.

Together, their strengths lie in building relationships within a group of companies and assisting their buying department with sourcing and developing new products and ranges, usually for their ‘own’ branded products.

The slow shift of the South African retail market, from Independent Sports Stores to Sports and Outdoor Retail Chain Stores has led us to focus on most-direct-supply route, which incorporates indents and direct imports.

Our most recent acquisition is our Skateboard division which holds a number of International and local brands and involves the import and country-wide distribution of these product as well as creating strong marketing and sponsorship campaigns which has character and continuity.

Innovate

Innovation begins with the tiniest idea which is sparked by seeing something traditional that can be enhanced by giving it a fresh, trendy look.

Create

The creation of the perfect product is achieved by sourcing the ideal factory that has experience and expertise in producing the style and quality of manufacture that is required.

Motivate

Motivation begins with an innovative concept and is concluded with a satisfactory sample. Motivation and marketing merge when these products are presented to a progressive market.

Allocate

Allocation begins at either the international factory of production or from the local warehouse where products are ordered and delivered as and when required.
